At Clubfit it’s all about you.

Your health, fitness and wellness journey is important to us. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned exerciser, our dedicated, passionate, and qualified team of Fitness Instructors will work with you to achieve your goals.

Your MyClubfit app, classes and personalised workout plan are all excellent tools to keep you on track, but the most valuable resource available to you is our team. Whenever you lose motivation, feel overwhelmed or you need a boost, book in for a workout plan review. Get a helping hand and a gentle reminder that we believe you can do it!

Goal Setting Sessions

When you join Clubfit, we are with you for the journey. We will sit down with you to have a chat about your health and wellbeing goals. We will ask you about your health history, exercise experience and any limitations you may have. We'll then discuss what you want to achieve and how often / how long you want your workout sessions to be. If you can only work out for 30 minutes at a time, that’s totally fine! We will then formulate a personalised 5-week workout plan for you through our MyClubfit app.

Workout Plan & Ongoing Support

In your next session, a qualified Fitness Instructor will walk you through your workout plan. Teaching you how to safely and successfully use a range of equipment specific to your plan. This is the time to ask questions to ensure that you master the correct and safe way to perform the movements. If you forget or need a refresher, feel free to speak to the Fitness Instructor on duty.

We will also make sure you are comfortable using the MyClubfit app to follow your workout plan and record sessions to keep your training plan on track.

Body Scans

Our free Body Scan service is available to all Baywave members. Our Fitness Instructors are trained to administer and interpret the information including muscle mass and body fat percentage which you will be able to find on the MyClubfit app. Used as an ongoing measure, the Body Scan helps you to tangibly see your results and is an invaluable motivation tool for members who are serious about their results. We recommend you scan no more than every 8-12 weeks, allowing adequate time for the body to adjust and to experience some progress.

MyClubfit App

The MyClubfit app allows our Fitness Instructor team to develop digital customised workout plans for you to enjoy from your smartphone. This optimises your ability to track your progress and follow your own customised plan each visit. It even comes with instructional videos to help with your exercise form and technique.

Tauranga Gym & Swim

For the ultimate wellness experience without the hefty price tag become a Platinum member. This all-inclusive membership provides access to both Tauranga gyms, free Body Scans and Group Fitness classes at Clubfit Baywave, along with free entry to all five Bay Venues’ aquatic facilities. These include the popular Baywave facility with lap pools, spa, steam room and sauna, plus free access to the iconic Mount Hot Pools.
